Synchronisation — IEEE 1588v2 / SyncE
5G URLLC and Carrier Aggregation require <±65ns time synchronisation between gNBs. HCT deploys IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) grandmaster clocks with SyncE frequency synchronisation — ensuring all base stations share the same nanosecond time reference.
